  Sport Marketing and Promotion

  This course is designed to introduce the methods and materials available for the promotion of athletic and recreational events. Attention is focused upon the importance of public attitudes, opinions and psychographics. Special emphasis is placed on promotion, public relations, marketing and fund-raising.

IV. Other Course Requirements - 13 credit hours

Students in Sport Management will complete six (6) credit hours of restricted electives from the areas of Human Performance and Recreation or Mass Communication depending on their field of interest. Students will enroll in a total of four (4) hours of Honors Thesis to develop and complete the requirement of a senior project or thesis. Additionally, students will complete three (3) hours of free electives.
