The Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College Scholarship provides
full academic scholarships to high achievers who are seeking careers in teaching, sport management or recreation.
These scholarships are selective and competitive.
Eligibility Requirments
- High school senior/ Incoming freshman
- Valedictorian, Salutatorian, or 3.0 or better GPA
- Minimum SAT score of 1100 or an equivalent ACT score
- Top 10% of high school class
- Passing score on all parts of the PRAXIS I examination *
* Teacher Education majors only - students with a passing scores on atleast one part of PRAXIS I will be considered. For more information of Praxis I, visit www.ets.org/praxis
If accepted, scholars are required to meet both the requirements of the Honors College
and the appropriate program in the School of Education. If you are interested,
