  Physiology of Exercise
  Credit(s): 3

  This course focuses on physiological changes in the human organism due to exercise. Investigation of recent research in diets, drugs, fatigue, cardiovascular disease and respiratory fitness. Conditioning programs for various age groups and the effects of exercise upon various components of physical fitness and health. Application of specific programs to physical education programs.

  Prerequisite(s): BIOL 202.
 




III. Other Course Requirements - 16 credit hours

Students in Human Performance and Recreation will enroll in a total of four (4) hours of Honors Thesis to develop and complete the requirement of a senior project or thesis. Additionally, students will complete twelve (12) hours of free electives.
