Description of Duties |
Claflin University invites applications and nominations for a faculty position in Sport Management. Major responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses, conducting socially significant research relevant to the field of sport management, establishing partnerships with professional organizations, seeking grants to support relevant research in sport management, using technology to teach web based or distance learning courses, and involvement in professional organizations. |

Qualifications |
Required qualifications include a doctorate in Sport Management or a closely related field (ABD nearing dissertation completion may be considered at instructor level in a non-tenure track position). An emerging record of scholarship, a minimum of three years recent teaching experience is desired, and expertise in the use of instructional technology and grant writing is desirable. |
