Teaching Music to Children

This is a materials and methodology course for the teaching of music for early childhood and elementary teacher candidates. They develop skills for teaching the basic elements (rhythm, melody, harmony, form, tonal color, dynamics, and tempo) to children. The cycle of experiences includes singing, playing instruments, listening, moving, creating and music reading. Field experience required.
