  This course examines the fundamental principles of life-span human growth and development relative to teaching and learning. It is also designed to increase cognition and understanding of intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development from birth to death, and is based upon theories of teaching and learning. It is required for all elementary, secondary and P-12 teacher candidates. Field experience required.
